Yes, Diane, I agree. The more we train ourselves to have empathy for other species, the more our capacity and tendency for empathy for each other is likely to increase, and this will be consistent with the HUEP, I believe.
Do you think your proposed ethical principle should be entered into the Humanian Belief Manual? I suggest you do it. I would anticipate voting yes for it. Please let me know if there are any difficulties in doing so.
