Crucifying Jesus was not okay, and it is up to each of us individually to make his death meaningful, by studying, learning, practicing, improving, modeling, and advocating, in this way carrying his work forward.

Accuracy of belief replaces conformity of belief as a high value.

One's concept of God, and/or one's basic orientation to living, should promote that which is consistent with the Humanian ultimate ethical principle (we should do that which will promote not only the survival of our species but also the good life for everyone, now and in the future, the "good life" meaning simply as much joy, contentment, and appreciation as possible and as little pain, suffering, disability, and early death as possible).
